Amigos de Bucerias AC

Amigos de Bucerias A.C. Is a Mexican registered civil association composed of residents of Bucerias, Nayarit, uniting to make Bucerias a good place to live.

The Bucerias Migrant School

The Bucerias Migrant School is a public school for students that generally do not go on to high school. In Bucerias the migrant school is on leased land along the Aroyo. The students attend school in trailers. The Amigos de Bucerias raises money each year at the annual Chili for a Cause fundraiser and those funds have been used in the past or the following:

  • Annual Christmas Lunch and Gifts for the 150+ students
  • Scholarship to High School – which provides uniforms, fees, bus fare and lunch
  • Painting the school and bathrooms
  • Building and maintaining restrooms
  • The electric bill
